Political Science is a highly popular course around the globe. This is the most popular subject among students of North India and in particular Jharkhand and Bihar. A Bachelor Degree in Political Science enables students to analyses the fundamental problems in human society such as world peace, economic crisis, globalization, international trade, and many more. A Political Science Program will help students to better understand how governments operate and interact, the impact of government policies upon economic stability and growth, and how laws affect social and political change. Politics influences every aspect of our lives and contributes to the well- being of a nation, including education, employment, healthcare and housing. Political science degrees will help develop key skills for a future career, including critical thinking, data analysis, effective communication, mediation skills, and also a deep understanding of legal codes and procedures, and knowledge of significant historic events.

In simple words, Political science deals with the study of political institutions, or of the principles, organization, and methods of government. It includes topics such as: Political Theory, Public Administration, Comparative Politics, International Relations, International Organisations, Foreign Policy, Indian and Western Political Thinkers and Ideology, etc.
