Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya

Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya is a premier minority institution recognized under Article 30 (1) Sections 2(f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act, situated in Ranchi. Founded in 1967 under the aegis of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India—a global spiritual and charitable organization established by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji, author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi—the college provides quality higher education with special emphasis on reaching tribal and underprivileged communities.

Spread across an 11-acre green campus, YSM offers undergraduate programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce, vocational programmes, and postgraduate studies in Commerce. The college provides ICT-enabled classrooms, laboratories, Wi-Fi, sports and fitness facilities, a Yoga and Meditation Centre, healthcare services, and rich Central Library facilities.
